“Once again, great service. Ordered (the Wapienica) on Wednesday, arrived here on Friday. Lovely blade, very good shave, amazing value, many thanks.”
Alan S., Luxembourg

“ The Wade and Butcher arrived promptly this morning and I've just completed a shave with it. Brilliant performance! This is quite unlike any of my other razors and gave me the most comfortable shave to date. This one gave no drag or pulling whatsoever. In fact, it was so effortless that I had to check several times that it was actually cutting. I have one of the TI 1884 treasures, which is very nice and perfectly balanced, but it now takes second place to the W & B.”

Chris D., Tyne & Wear

“ The (Wapienica) blade was incredibly sharp and yet, the shave was smooth as if I was using a butter knife. In fact, it performed so well that the first pass got so close that I only did a second pass because I didn't want to put down the razor. These are tremendous shavers and do keep up with their reputation. I also have to thank you for the magnificent service you provide and the customer service you give.”

Francisco P, Portugal

“Just a word to sat how fantastic the W.Castleton razor is that I bought off you.Used it tonight for the first time and was so impressed with the ease of  shaving..”

Stephen T., Stouport-on-Severn, West Midlands

“I'm sure some would call (the Wapienica) "utilitarian" or "surgical", but I think instead it is practical, a razor that a man can expect to be using in 10 years time, and considering it cost about the same as 3 months worth of BIC disposables, I would be pleased to recommend it or you to anyone with enough sense to listen.”

John B., Exeter

“Received (razor) on Saturday. Very many thanks -- exactly as described, and provided a great shave. No  doubt I'll be visiting you web site again for other razors in future!”
David O., Manchester

“Delivery was very fast and the razor is just perfect and I am really happy. Your website is more than helpful with shaving advice  . . .Once again many thanks.”

Nathan J., Macclesfield
“Received the razor yesterday and used it for the first time today. My word, so that's what I can do with a truly sharp razor, fantastic. Many, many thanks. I'll certainly be putting more business your way.”

Alan S., Luxembourg.

“Received the Kropp yesterday. Thanks so much for the fantastic service. Really pleased with it.... great to find someone who really knows their stuff and provides a good service.”

Gary , Surrey.

“Have just received my Wapienica and I am totally blown away. I have a number

of good and excellent razors currently and this one is as good if not better than most and is definitely by far the best value for money. Also have to say the swiftness of the service was also very impressive. I shall be doing some more business with you. “

Alex J., Stafford.

“Got the razor yesterday - you were right, it was very sharp, and a joy to use.”

Bjorn P., Oslo, Norway

“The Wapienica is absolutly brilliant !  It's the first time I've ever used a Wedge and I'm totally hooked. This razor will now be my firm favourite for many years to come. Thank you for excellent service and an excellent product.”

Richard S, Notts.

“The Wade and Butcher arrived today, you certainly are a master craftsman. I have already had a shave with it, what an edge. The balance is very good though, no nicks or cuts. Thanks again for your great service and skills.”.

R.P., Queensland Australia

"Excellent service from start to finish. I both bought a vintage razor and had another razor sharpened for me. Turn-around times were very fast (just a couple of days between placing orders and getting items) and there was an open line of dialogue which meant that every question I had (no matter how small or inane) was answered within a few hours of emailing. I would highly recommend The Invisible Edge and will be purchasing all of my razors and accessories from the website in future. Many thanks for all of your help."
Mike G., Fife

“The pair of razors arrived bang on time this morning and I had a quite excellent and exceptional shave with one of my new toys. Smooth and easy. I am a very satisfied customer. Thank you very much indeed, I will be sure to recommend your services”.

P. T., Reading

“Hi Steve, I bought a straight razor and a strop from you some weeks back, and I've just bought two of each for my brothers, for Christmas.  . . . I have to say it's the best shave ever!!”

Nigel D

“Just got home from work and found my razors waiting for me..had a wash and lathered up .....great shave at least as close as the mach 3 ( my technique probably still needs work as this is still new to me) Many thanks for your work, if you want to use pics of my razors for your site you are welcome. You should advertise your sharpening service...if anyone has any doubts tell them to email me and I`ll give you a glowing review”

Jason C (email address only by request!)

All razors are honed and stropped by myself. You will, of course, need to strop the razor before your next shave just as any other - I don’t claim to have put a ‘magic’ edge on them that is forever keen!

I have tried to choose a variety of models for this page at prices to suit everyone. Some will be fifty years old or less - some a hundred years old or more. All are described in full on their own details page - just click on the  relevant image below to go there.

Numbers of razors for sale on this page will vary due to availability of  stock - not all the razors I have are suitable for use in this way  (collector’s items for instance) so do call by regularly to see what’s new!

Remember!

“There is hardly anything in the world that some man cannot make a little worse and sell a little cheaper, and the people who consider price only are this man's lawful prey.

It's unwise to pay too much, but it's worse to pay too little. When you pay too much, you lose a little money - that's all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything, because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing it was bought to do.

The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a  lot - it can't be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.”
