Abbate y la Mantia Laureato Aftershave

$35.71

Like the related shaving cream, Laureato aftershave from Abbate y la Mantia has an amazing fragrance of bay leaves akin to some of the bay rum fragrances you find elsewhere but with a slightly stronger scent.

Why "Laureato"? Well, laurel leaves which we think of in terms of power and achievement in the ancient World and the bay leaves you may find in your spice rack are exactly the same thing. Bay leaves come from an ancient Mediterranean tree called the bay laurel tree or Laurus nobilis, from the family Lauraceae. The Italian for bay leaves is "alloro" while "Laureato" means "Graduate", someone who traditionally would have been honoured with a wreath of laurel leaves.

Supplied in a 100ml glass bottle and presented in a stylish box.

More Information

We were intrigued when Abbate y la Mantia got in touch with us to show us their range of shave soaps and aftershaves. They use traditional methods with a nod to modernity to produce wonderfully unique soaps and aftershaves that have a variety of delightfully different fragrances that you won't find elsewhere.
