2/8, 3/8, 4/8 Razors

This section comprises a selection of smaller straight razors. By this we mean razors which are 2/8, 3/8 and 4/8 of an inch in depth. These razors are at the narrower end of the size spectrum. The most common size for straight razors is a 5/8 or 6/8, while more experienced users may go up to a 7/8 or 8/8. All those razors are suitable for full face shaving. But if you are looking to shave only part of the face or other parts of the body a smaller razor may be preferable. Smaller razors are easier to handle and better for precision detailing, for example. The smallest razors have also historically been used for hair thinning.
