Description

Rams Horn is arguably the finest material for a straight razor handle and these replacement scales from Thiers Issard fit most 5/8 and 6/8 straight razors. They are supplied fixed at the base but undrilled at the pivot so a perfect fit can be made. Supplied with pins and collars.

Colouring and figuring varies significantly from one set of handles to another. The photos are not of the scaels in stock, but rather intended to illustrate the variation there can be with the horn ranging from a pale cream to a dark grey or black and combinations of these colours. If you have a preference please get in touch when purchasing and we will advise which colour combinations we have in stock.

These razor scales measure approx. 11/16 inch in width just before the spacer and have a total length of 5.5 inches. They will fit most 5/8 and 6/8 straight razors. If you have a large 6/8 straight razor such as a Thiers Issard 6/8 with a historic hand worked spine then you will need the 7/8 scales.
