Description
This is another addition to the small range of razors from Boker’s new collection which feature stunning scales made from various types of shell. In this case Paua shell has been used and to great effect. Paua are shellfish from the genus of the abalone, but unlike abalones they are only found in the unspoilt nature of New Zealand’s coastal waters. They have been used by the Maori as traditional body jewellery for many centuries and are still used today as decorations for figures, weapons and meeting houses. The use of this shell material makes each one is unique. The carbon steel blade has a satin finish and bears an historic laser engraved design featuring a wreath surrounding the letter “B”. This design was once used for particularly unusual Boker razors. I think it is fair to say that this is both an unusual yet extraordinary razor. The blade has a French point. Supplied in a clear display case with a Certificate of Authenticity.
SHAVE READY – Unlike some retailers, our razors are not supplied as they come from the factory. We individually prepare all the razors we sell. For full details see our policy.
