Description
This revised version of the Boker Mother of Pearl Razor has beautiful contemporary styled scales made from acrylic but in imitation of mother of pearl. With a third reinforcing pin these are far more robust than if made with the natural product. The scales are inlaid with the Boker tree of life which adds to the feeling of quality.
The 6/8 carbon satin finish blade has the words “Mother of Pearl” together with an open oyster shell in gold. The angular spine is plain but is covered in a goldwash which frames the blade nicely. What sets the razor apart stylistically is the square nose with the tapered faceted point to the spine – another contemporary addition which gives this make over a modern twist.
Although identified by Boker as a 6/8, this is a large blade which measures 7/8 inches from edge to the tip of the spine.
