For the perfect Castle Forbes Shave first, dip the brush into hot water, flick off excess and ‘swipe’ off a small amount of the cream from the pot. Lather up with circular motions on the face. Small additions of water produce more lather while the brush is massaging the skin and raising the hair shafts. A further dip of the tip of the brush into the water will help lather up for 2nd and 3rd pass if required. Use more water, not more shaving cream.
Only a small amount of cream is needed with a generous addition of water to produce a rich creamy lather. Castle Forbes say their 200ml jar lasts the average user 5/6 months.
