Made in Japan, these professional barber’s razors follow the styling of traditional Japanese kamisori but accept replacement Feather blades to ensure a sharp edge for every shave without the need for stropping or honing. The Feather Artist Club SR ACSR-NB does not fold but has a gently curved handle of black silicone resin which has been designed to provide a a firm grip and reduce the chance of slipping. The blade holder is made from stainless steel and has a matt finish. The rounded tip is designed to ensure as smoothe a shave as possible. Weighs 52g.
This razor is not for the novice as the blades are extremely sharp. However it can provide a very satisfying shave once you have mastered the technique.
The blade can be changed easily by squeezing the head of the blade holder which allows the blade to be removed or to drop out. A dispenser provided with the replacement blades allows you to insert the blade without having to touch it.
