Description
This Ralf Aust razor has a 5/8 carbon steel satin finished blade with a spanish point and unusual cocobolo wood scales. It has the usual “Ralf Aust Solingen” mark on the tang and the “Solingen Handarbeit” – handmade in Solingen – mark on the blade. The blade has a form of Spanish point to it, but almost a wave shape rather than a crescent. Cocobolo is a tropical hardwood that stands up well to repeated handling and exposure to water. The contemporary styling of the scales together with the beautiful graining of the wood make this a stunning razor. The spine has a flower pattern laser etched on to the top – something we have added to the razors which make up our expanded Ralf Aust range. The tang has jimping to the upper and lower tang. All Ralf Aust razors have a full hollow ground blade.
