This ‘Tensio’ Adjustable loom strop from Strop-It has a simple but ingenious feature – an adjusting mechanism which allows the leather strop belt to be tightened to the user’s requirements. It also has an easy-change system for the belts, allowing a quick and easy changeover. Only one strop is needed – just change belts! Ideal for users who prefer a loom strop to a paddle strop – with the added benefit of being able to tension the belts as you like. The twin knurled brass rotators are easily accessible from the side of the strop and their fine-pitch threads allow for very accurate tensioning. Supplied with a smooth vegetable tanned cowhide leather strop. All leathers are pre-tensioned prior to delivery to take up primary stretching and are accurately cut to ensure a good fit. Supplementary and replacement belts are available of various leather types. Overall length approx. 355 mm. belt width approx. 44 mm. As this strop can be taken apart it is an ideal travel strop.
