Description
This pre-owned Spotted Maple Thick Grind Hook Nose razor can no longer be purchased from Thiers-Issard. Spotted maple is not currently available and it has been some years since a thick grind was used.
The 7/8 blade has a hook nose point, an unmarked mirror finish to both sides and an oak leaf etched spine with A “G” for “Grelot”. This razor was one of the earliest examples of the oak leaf design still used by TI today.
The razor has jmping to the lower and upper tang. The maple scales have a similar colouration to walnut but with a distinctive patternation within the grain.
This pre-owned Spotted Maple Thick Grind Hook Nose razor is being sold on behalf of a collector and is in excellent condition.
