Description
This Thiers Issard 7/8 Square Nose razor with snakewood scales is a really distinctive model. We have examples of snakewood scales elsewhere on the site and they are a customer favourite. The wood is so called as the grain has a distinctive snake skin type pattern. The wood is typically a reddish brown, with contrasting darker brown or black patches and polishes to a high shine.
This square nose razor with snakewood scales features a 7/8 carbon mirror finished blade with a grelot thumb notch. In a departure from our usual blade markings we have chosen the Le Thiernois mark which adds an additional gold wash detail to the branding. The razor has jimping to the lower tang and a plain spine.
