Description
This 7/8 razor from Thiers Issard is a slight divergence from the norm for us as it bears the “Mouette” blade marking – a Lighthouse and Seagull in flight. It has the hand worked historic spine in the “rice” design which gives the razor added weight. It has a square nose and is therefore more suited to the experienced straight razor user. The blade is of a grelot design with the curved thumb notch which has jimping to the underside of the tang.
The scales are blonde horn which is a natural product and as such can vary considerably from a pale cream through tones of brown to black. Each razor is different and therefore the razor supplied will not necessarily look like the one in the image.
