Due to the popularity of the Le Grelot razors we have decided to stock a few more variants of the new range of razors which Thiers Issard have introduced under this revived branding, Le Grelot being a trade mark with much history. In 1924 Pierre and Louis Thiers exhibited their razors in Algiers and were awarded a gold medal for excellence. The Medaille D’or mark celebrated this achievement. The razor has a satin finish to both sides of the blade which bears the Le Grelot Medaille D’Or mark. The scales are made from bocote, a wood which has a interesting striped grain and gives this particular variation of the razor a unique look as each razor is subtly different. Half hollow grind. Beautifully presented in a stylish retro cardboard box.
