Description
This distinctive TI 6/8 Le Chasseur razor has beautiful pale boxwood scales with an inlaid wood design showing a duck hunt scene complete with huntsman, a dog and flying ducks. The razor has the Le Chasseur mark in black on a mirror polished round point carbon blade, which has jimping to the lower and upper tang and a plain spine.
Boxwood has an even texture with a natural lustre and because it is only available in small quantities is fairly rare. It tends to be a light cream to yellow in colour, and can darken over time with prolonged exposure to light. On this TI 6/8 Le Chasseur razor it is used to great effect producing stunning scales.
