Description
This beautiful razor has a 6/8 carbon round point blade. The spine is hand filed with a historic bramble design which gives it weight as well as giving the razor a luxury feel. The blade has the “Le Chasseur” design in black. This is a traditional marking used by Thiers Issard but for some unknown reason not one we use on our razors very often. I don’t know why as it looks very good. The scales are ram’s horn which sets off this razor to its best advantage. Ram’s horn is a natural materials the colouring and patterning of the scales will vary from one razor to another. Rams horn in particular varies considerably from pale honey to dark grey and black and combinations of the two. The ones we have in stock at the moment have a mix of dark and mid tones which are all very nice examples.
Accessories are for illustrative purposes only but are available to purchase on the site. The strop is our own standard strop – IE 100009, the shaving soap in a dish is by Mitchell’s – IEA230002 and the brush is one of our custom stag horn brushes – A140019(114).
