The blade has been polished to a mirror finish, originally a satin type finish. There are a couple of small pock marks on the blade but overall it is in good condition with minimal hone wear. The scales are in very good condition. It has a thick grind, round about a quarter hollow.
Supplied honed and shave ready.
The man holding a fish was trademark used by Solingen based razor maker Paul Kohl. This trademark together with the "Fischerwerk" and " The Fisher" trademarks were registered in 1926 by his company H & W Dirlam of Solingen. The WITTE trading company uses this fish trademark today but unfortunately no longer produces razors, only scissors mainly for use in the hairdressing industry.
