What are Shavettes?

Shavettes are more like straight (cut-throat) razors than safety razors as they employ an open blade. Shavettes can provide an excellent shave but are more suitable for experienced wet shavers rather than being a starting point. They are also a good route for men wishing to experience a shave similar to that provided by a straight razor without having to worry about keeping the razor sharp.

We stock two types of shavette, those whose form is similar to the straight razor and those whose form is more akin to the traditional Japanese razor.
