The Boker Barbarette combines the benefits of a straight razor with those of a safety razor. The handling is comparable to a straight razor but there is no need to strop or hone the blade to keep it sharp. The Barbarette is the same size as the straight razors Boker produces and this model has a beautiful olivewood handle embossed with the Boker tree mark. The blade holder is made of stainless steel and is designed to fit the standard 43mm DE blade or the 65mm shavette blades. Supplied with 2 blade holders one for a long shavette blade and one designed to hold two halves of a DE blade.
