While we have a wide range of strops, for some time we have been without a linen backed extra wide hanging strop. These new strops we have now sourced are fully handmade in Europe by an artisan maker using leather selected from the best parts of the cowhide.
With these strops the flax backing has been fixed to the leather, it is not separate as is seen on some strops. While the strop is still flexible this provides some additional rigidity.
The handle is of leather while the fixings are of stainless steel.
Although more expensive than some other strops you can be assured with this linen backed extra wide hanging strop that the greatest of care has been taken in selecting the materials and in the process of crafting the strop.
