Description
This pre-owned Ralf Aust straight razor has a 5/8 carbon steel blade with jimping to the upper and lower tang. It has etching on the spine. It has the Ralf Aust Solingen marking to the front of the tang and the marking “Solinger Handarbeit” – handmade in Solingen – on the front of the satin finished blade. The composite scales have a stylish metal inlay design with the word “Solingen” along the scales and a traditional silver crown design encapsulating the end of the scales, like the Boker Arbolito.
This blade has a form of a Spanish point to it. It is, however, slightly more of a wave shape than a crescent than is found on razors from some other manufacturers.
The razor in in good condition and the photos are of the razor itself. The scales are, however, slightly misaligned, although this does not affect the way the razor closes or its use. Supplied with a maroon leather DOVO wallet.
All Ralf Aust razors have a full hollow ground blade.
