Description
A stunning Thiers Issard Black Horn 7/8 razor with a round point blade, and a gilt spine and tang. The elegant “grelot” form blade has a deep thumb notch while the tang has jimping to both upper and lower sides. The unmarked blade is of “Carbonsong” C135 steel with mirror finish to both sides. I think you’ll agree this is a stylish and elegant example of a Thiers Issard razor.
SECOND – This razor has a couple of marks on one side of the tang, while on the other side the goldwash is thin in part. There is also a small mark on the goldwash at the top of the monkey’s tail. These are shown in the images which are of the actual razor for sale. The price has been reduced accordingly.
