This version has a mirror finished hollowed blade and the attractive festonne spine design complemented by luxury rams horn scales which makes a very attractive combination. It also has hook nose point and the Dreadnought blade mark in black which is exclusive to us so you won’t find this combination available anywhere else.

Description

This 6/8 straight razor from Thiers Issard is hot forged using a historic template but is manufactured from modern C135 carbon steel. This version has a mirror finished hollowed blade and the attractive festonne spine design complemented by luxury rams horn scales which makes a very attractive combination. It also has hook nose point and the Dreadnought blade mark in black which is exclusive to us so you won’t find this combination available anywhere else.

The 6/8 razors with festonne spine are a large razor with more weight to them than some other 6/8 razors from Thiers-Issard. Frankly it as close to a 7/8 as a 6/8. Only suitable for those experienced in straight razor shaving.

Supplied in a TI Barenia leather wallet (colour may vary).

N.B. As with all natural materials the colouring and patterning will vary from one razor to another. Rams horn can vary from translucent honey colours through to dark greys and blacks.
