This Merkur 33C 3 piece razor is a popular choice for those seeking a chrome plated razor but of lighter weight than the 34C. The 33C razor has the similar closed comb head and cross hatch diamond pattern on the handle to provide good grip and help ensure that the razor doesn’t slip in the hand while shaving. However, the head of the 33C is lighter and the handle slimmer. The 33C is a three piece razor, so the handle screws into the head, while the comb is separate and sits between the two. Chrome finished for an attractive finish and for protection. This razor takes a standard DE razor blade.
